General Notes

Christopher D'Oyly, Esq. now of Bodicot Cottage near Banbury, only surviving son and heir, was baptized 30th December 1780, at Adderbury, and lived in a very retired way till the death of his father, and that of Mrs. D'Oyly of Twickenham, his maternal great-uncle's widow. Subsequently, however, he took up his abode at Bodicot, the adjoining village to Adderbury, and very near the small remains of his paternal estate, where he is still living unmarried, and is the present representative of this branch of the family.
