Robert was born in 1478.  Robert's father was Sir Marmaduke Constable and his mother was Joyce Stafford.  His paternal grandparents were Sir Robert Constable and Agnes Wentworth. He had a brother and a sister, named Marmaduke and Eleanor.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 60 on July 8th, 1538.
