Marmaduke was born in 1474.  Marmaduke's father was Sir Marmaduke Constable and his mother was Joyce Stafford.  His paternal grandparents were Sir Robert Constable and Agnes Wentworth. He had a brother and a sister, named Robert and Eleanor.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 71 in 1545.
