George was born on May 19th, 1883.  George's father was George Cholmondeley (4th Marquess) and his mother was Winifred Kingscote.  His paternal grandfather was Charles Cholmondeley (Viscount Malpas).  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 85 on September 16th, 1968.
