Henry was born in 1601 in Chickney, England.  Henry's father was Philemon Whale and his mother was Agnes Norwood (Whale).  His paternal grandparents were Richard Whale and Thomasine Northen (Whale); his maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Jonas, John, Philemon, Whale, Susan, Anna, Sarah, Elizabeth, Margaret and Mary.  He was the third youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 15 in 1616 in Chickney, England.
