Dorothy was born on August 12th, 1907 in Prestwich.¹

Birth Notes

Dorothy's father was William Thorpe and her mother was Rosaline Jane May. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Thorpe and Nancy Mather. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Harold, Herbert, Florence and Marjorie. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 99 on April 21st, 2007 in Texas (TX).²
