28 June 1853, Wiliam Settle (26), bachelor, Maker up, son of Abraham a Bleacher married Sarah Ann Cheetham (22).
William and Sarah had Maria Alice in 1855, and Henry in 1858 but by 1861 both had died and William and Sarah (35 & 29) were with Sarah's mother and sister Maria and Jane Cheetham (57 & 18). William, born Edgworth was a Beer Retailer at Salford. They had no more children.
Q3 1867, wife Sarah Ann died, and the bed had barely gone cold before William re-married.
2 Oct 1867, William, now a Widow, son of Abraham a Bleacher, married Elizabeth Knight a month later !
