James Philip Scrivens

James was born in December 1857 in Hindley.¹

James' father was John Scrivens and his mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Banks. His maternal grandparents were Philip Banks and Sarah Bolton. He had two brothers and two sisters, named William, Thomas, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 5 in October 1863 in Pemberton.²
