Christopher was born in December 1813 in Harwood and his baptism took place on December 17th, 1813 in Great Harwood.1  Christopher's father was John Oliverson and his mother was Esther Baron. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Barry, James, Robert, John, Isabella and Nanny.  He was the oldest of the seven children.
