Rachel was born in January 1763 in Shotton and her baptism took place on January 23rd, 1763 in Hawarden.1  Rachel's father was John Millington and her mother was Margaret Youd. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John, Thomas, Mary, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth and Ann.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 74 in April 1837 in Hawarden.  She was buried on April 10th, 1837 in Hawarden.1
