      (star Wars) hair style.  The other two at the back are unknown, or is the Lady at the front Sara?.
Edith, known as Eda, was born in September 1888 in St. Helens.1  Eda's father was John Robert Mercer and her mother was Emily Anne Herring.  Her paternal grandparents were George Mercer and Mary Dutton. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Herbert, Douglas, Sidney, Ernest, William, Lil and Florence.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.

      The photo is lovely. It's of Sue's Auntie Edie and her 2 girls Janet and Edith but one might be May who died not sure and of course Uncle Archie in 1st World War uniform.  Doesn't he look stressed and tired.  You can see the horror of War in his eyes, it is so moving.
‌Eda and Archie were married on September 18th, 1912 in Birkenhead. They had two sons and four daughters, named Albert, John, Edie, Janet, May and Hilda.
