Zacharias was born on March 4th, 1790 in Bolton and his baptism took place in August 1790 in Dukes Alley Chapel (NC).¹

Birth Notes

Zacharias' father was Joseph Mather and his mother was Martha Enwistle. His paternal grandparents were Zacharias Mather and Sarah Brooks. He had a brother and two sisters, named Samuel, Hannah and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the four known children.
