Samuel Mather

Samuel's father was Joseph Mather and his mother was Martha Enwistle. His paternal grandparents were Zacharias Mather and Sarah Brooks. He had a brother and two sisters, named Zacharias, Hannah and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the four known children. He died at the age of 59 in March 1848 in Bolton.²
