General Notes
Thomas Mather is not from Lancashire. Because he is from Yorkshire, lived in Bolton where wife Martha was from, and had a son Matthias, and born where there is a gap in the births, I suspect Thomas is a son of Matthias Mather of Bradford, but UNCONFIRMED.
In 1823, a Manufacturer when he married Mary Ann Sansom, and had their children baptised (all at Chorley).
