Sarah Mather

Sarah was born in 1797 in Eccles and her baptism took place on October 1st, 1797 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Eccles).¹

Sarah's father was Ellis (Elias) Mather and her mother was Alice Eccles. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Robert, Elias, James, Ann, Alice, Alice and Ann. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 23 on January 21st, 1820. Her burial was in January 1820 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Eccles).²
