In 1841, Samuel and Catherine (35 & 33) were living in North Sheffield, Yorkshire with daughter Annie P Patterson. Samuel was a beerhouse keeper and plumber.
24 May 1883 Samuel Mather Patterson (37, Wid) a Plumber of 141 Newport Street, son of John Patterson a Plumber married Catherine Sharpe (35, Wid) of 143 Newport Street, daughter of Hugh Price, Seedsman at Bolton Holy Trinity. Witnesses were Matthew and Emma Hamer.
