Peter Mather

Peter was born in July 1841 in Warrington and his baptism took place on September 5th, 1841 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

Birth Notes

Peter's father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Sarah Hobson. His paternal grandparents were William Mather and Martha Welch. He had two brothers named Henry and William. He was the youngest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas, John, Elizabeth, Sarah, Mary and Betsy. He died at the age of 49 in October 1890 in Oldham.²
