James Mather

James was born in 1882 in Bolton.¹

James' father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Catherine Lawton. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Mather and Elizabeth Kay. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named John, Joshua, Thomas, Fred, Mary, Catherine, Margaret, Elizabeth, Emma, Annie and Maud. He was the nineth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 8 in 1890 in Bolton.¹
