Isaac Mather

Isaac was born in October 1863 in Adlington and his baptism took place on October 18th, 1863 at Christ Church (Adlington).¹

Isaac's father was James Mather and his mother was Elizabeth Ratcliffe. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Amy (Amey or Emy) Worsley. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, Nathan, Mary, Ellen, Sarah, Margaret, Ann, Alice and Elizabeth. He was the sixth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 63 on January 15th, 1927 at Tonge-with-Haulgh Cemetery.²
