Eliza Jane Mather

Eliza was born in September 1856 in Halliwell.¹

Eliza's father was Wright Mather and her mother was Sarah Powell. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ann Coup. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Walter, John, Eliza, Mary, Emma and Sarah. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 72 in February 1929 in Farnworth. Her burial was on February 23rd, 1929 at St. Paul (Halliwell).²
