Birth Notes

John's father was Thomas Manning and his mother was Sarah Warburton. His paternal grandparents were John Manning and Betty (Elizabeth) Edwards. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Ellis, Frances and Jane. He was the oldest of the five known children.
