Bertha Isherwood

Bertha was born on June 27th, 1887 in Turton.¹

Bertha's father was Henry Isherwood and her mother was Alice Ann Crook. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Isherwood and Margaret Bentley; her maternal grandparents were William Crook and Elizabeth Kay. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Norman, Annie, Elsie, Frances and Phyllis. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 66 in January 1954 in Surrey.²
