Lavinia's father was John Davidson Hunter and her mother was Elizabeth Bennett. Her maternal grandparents were Cap John Bennett and Jane Roberts. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Joseph, Benjamin, George, Elizabeth, Kate, Mary, Emma and James. She was the nineth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 58 on November 8th, 1941 in Utah (UT).¹
