Thomas Hopley

Thomas was born in 1835 in Farndon.¹ Thomas' father was Samuel Hopley and his mother was Mary Saunders. His paternal grandparents were Charles Hopley and Mary Poovah. He had a brother and two sisters, named Charles, Emma and Ann. He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother named John.

General Notes
- Thomas, 21 appears on the Iowa, State Census, the only one from England on the page. He apears to be a farm labourer andthough its not certain. Is this him? Age is correct and he's missing from England.
