Beatrice's father was Nathaniel (Nathan) Haslam and her mother was Jane Lomax. Her maternal grandparents were Levi Lomax and Margaret Booth. She had two sisters named Ida and Gladys. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 34 on October 28th, 1939.
