John Eddows

John was born in 1813.

- Aged 48 in 1861

John's father was Ralph Eddowes and his mother was Abigail Blythen. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Ralph and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the four known children.

General Notes
- All John and Ann's the children were recorded as EDDOWS (i.e. not Eddowes).
  
  John is the assumed oldest son of Abigail and Ralph. His first children were named after his mother and father (Abigail and Ralph), but both died as infants.
  
  In 1841, John Eddows (30) was living at Wardley Lane, Eccles with Isaac and Sarah Hall (both 45) and the children, the oldest being Ann, aged 10.
  
  In 1846, John Eddowes married Ann Hall at Chorlton
  
  In 1861, John had two of his brother Ralph's orphaned children staying with him.
