Elizabeth was born in December 1809 in Wrexham and her baptism took place there on September 30th, 1810.1  Elizabeth's father was Ralph Eddowes and her mother was Abigail Blythen. She had three brothers named John, Thomas and Ralph.  She was the oldest of the four known children.
