(Marie)'s father was Hermann (Chris) Hinrich Christopher Dittmer and her mother was Elizabeth (Lilly) Graham. Her paternal grandparents were Johann (Chris) Heinrich Christoph Dittmer and Katharina (Margaret) Margretha Magdalena Heuer. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Harold, Charles, Dora and (Elizabeth). (Elizabeth) and (Marie) were twins. She died at the age of 78 in April 2006 in St. Helens.²
