Walter Stocks Davies

Walter was born in September 1859 in Nottingham.¹

Walter's father was Edward Davies and his mother was Charlotte Moorhouse Stocks. His maternal grandparents were James Stocks and Esther Moorhouse. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Frances. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 53 on April 11th, 1913 in Caernarvonshire.²

General Notes
- Walter and Adele liven in Ireland for several years where the first three children were born. They moved to Birkenhead about 1899.
  
  In 1901, Walter S and Adele G Davies (41 & 31) were at Oxton, Birkenhead. They had their 4 children, Walter's mother Charlotte (71, Wid) and sister Frances M Davies (39, single) with them and three servants.
  
  In 1911, Walter Stocks Davies had been married 20 years and had 5 children (all alive). Four of the five were with him at Kirket Lane, Lower Bebington and Walter was at boarding School in North Wales.
