Joseph Cunliffe

Joseph was born in 1842 in Little Bolton.¹

Joseph's father was James Cunliffe and his mother was Maria Hall. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Daniel, William, Joseph, Benjamin, Ellen, Sarah, Rachel and Ruth. He was the eighth oldest of the ten known children. He had four half-sisters named Betsy, Alice, Susanna and Mary. He died at the age of 78 on July 31st, 1920.

General Notes
- a Son James died in 1841, so James was a "replacement".
  
  Joseph married Rebecca (1842-1920). They are buried together in his mother's grave at Tong
