Mary Crook

Mary was born in 1736 in Harwood and her baptism took place on February 4th, 1736 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Mary's father was John Crook and her mother was Hannah (Ann) Twisse.  Her maternal grandparents were Peter Twisse and Katherine Welch. She had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Peter, Catherine, Ellen and Betty.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 49 in April 1785 in Little Bolton.  She was buried on April 14th, 1785 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹
