Andrew Crook

Andrew was born in 1807 in Darcy Lever and his baptism took place on April 26th, 1807 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Andrew's father was William Crook and his mother was Betty Nelson.  His paternal grandparents were William Crook and Alice Aldred. He had three brothers and six sisters, named John, Alexander, James, Johanna, Alice, Elizabeth, Ann, Mary and Hannah.  He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 40 on July 21st, 1847 in Manchester.  He was buried on July 24th, 1847 in Eccles.²
