John was a Clothier in 1846 when Mary married, and for all the childrens baptisms. He was ther posthumous son of John and Mary Buckley of Peters
In 1823, James was born at Nook Stair, Saddleworth.
In 1841, John and Alice (43 & 40) lived at Peters, Uppermill, Saddleworth, Yorkshire. Also present were James (15), Mary (15), Hannah (13), Elizabeth (10), Sarah (7), Frederick (4), Margaret (2) and Esther (2mo).
He was there in 1841 and for all the childrens baptisma after 1824, but had died by 1851, leaving the remaining family still at Peters. Oldest son James was still there in 1881.
