Sarah was born in 1837 in Tugford.1  Sarah's father was William Brown and her mother was Mary. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Edward, Thomas, Edwin, Rachael, Eliza and Emma.  She was the third oldest of the eight known children.





Sarah's family with Richard Jones

‌Sarah and Richard were married in September 1851 in Ludlow.3   They had three sons named Richard, William and Edward.
