Emma Brereton (Breerton)

Emma was born in 1835 in Stalybridge.¹

Emma's father was Richard Brereton and her mother was Eliza (Betty) Ramsden. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Bruerton and Ann Vickers. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Edwin, Richard, Lucy and Eliza. She was the oldest of the six children.
