Anne was born in 1832 in Harthill and her baptism took place on August 10th, 1832 at All Saints, Harthill.¹²

Birth Notes

Anne's father was Richard Brereton and her mother was (Elizabeth) Ellen Lea. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Brereton and Elizabeth (Betty) Haywood; her maternal grandparents were John Lea and Ester Ellen Lea. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Richard, John, Ester, Sarah, Elizabeth, Martha and Martha. Elizabeth and Anne were twins. She died at the age of 59 on October 10th, 1891 in Victoria (Au).³
