Robert Bootle

Robert was born in February 1815 in Bolton and his baptism took place on February 7th, 1815 at St. Mary (Deane).¹

Robert's father was James Bootle and his mother was Catharine Mather.  His maternal grandparents were Ralph Mather and Elizabeth (Betty) Glover. He had two half-brothers named Henry and Ralph.  He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, Drowning in the Bremmer River, at the age of 42 in 1857 in Queensland.²
