William Boothroyd

William was born in 1868 in Stalybridge.¹ William's father was James Boothroyd and his mother was Alice Mitchell. His paternal grandparents were William Boothroyd and Mary Stocks. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Walter, William, Mary, Alice and Sarah. He was the oldest of the six children.
