Catherine Bennett

Catherine's father was Benjamin Bennett and her mother was Catherine Jones. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bennett and Elizabeth Millington; her maternal grandparents were John Jones and Elizabeth Barclay. She had four brothers and a sister, named John, Benjamin, Jonathan, Edward and Elizabeth. She was the fourth oldest of the six known children. She died at the age of 69 on September 16th, 1902 in Millard. Her burial was in September 1902 in Millard.²

- On 19 Nov 1857, Catherine (22) married Thomas Hewitt (21), son of George and Elizabeth Hewett, at St. Mary's-on-the-Hill, Chester, Cheshire, England.
  
  In 1871, Thomas (a pilot) and Catherine Hewitt (34 & 37) were living at Wepre, Flintshire with a nephew Henry Hughes (4) and no children of their own.
