James was born in December 1876 in Wrexham.¹

Birth Notes

James' father was Aldred Barker and his mother was Rose (Rosanna) Anna Evans. His maternal grandparents were John Evans (Whitall) and Elizabeth Eddowes. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Noel, Ben, Charles, Mary, Amelia, Elizabeth and Rosanna. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 1 in June 1878 in Wrexham.¹
