Birth Notes

Emma's father was William Ankers and his mother was Mary Hopley. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Hopley and Elizabeth (Betty) Perry. He had six brothers and two sisters, named George, Joseph, Samuel, John, Thomas, David, Sarah and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the nine children.
