Anna was born on February 17th, 1846 in Germany.1   Anna's father was Henry Trauernicht and her mother was Johanna Knobbe. She had two brothers named Theodore and Henry.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died at the age of 66 on July 7th, 1912 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.  She was buried at the Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.1 1

Anna and Charles were married on February 15th, 1869.1   They had four sons and a daughter, named Alfred, Walter, Augusta, Charles and Alma.
