Christoph Carl Sodman

Christoph was born on September 27th, 1855 in Guttenberg, Clayton County, Iowa. Christoph's father was Johann Heinrich Sodman and his mother was Marie Joh. Christ. Dedarika Kai. His paternal grandparents were Johann Christoph Sothman and Hanna Sophie Schumacher; his maternal grandparents were Christoph Kai and Maria Loojen. He had a brother and a sister, named Johann and Gustine. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 72 on June 12th, 1928 in Elk Creek, Johnson County, Nebraska.
