Loren was born on August 8th, 1923.  Loren's father was Frank Joseph Roetto and his mother was Catherine Witt.  His paternal grandparents were Charles Roetto and Catherine Marie; his maternal grandparents were Herman Witt and Bernardine Miller. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Richard, David, Frederick, Ruth, Rose, Dorothy, Virginia and Loretta.  He died at the age of 65 on July 11th, 1989.
