Charles was born on February 3rd, 1934 in Staunton, Macoupin County, Illinois.1   Charles' father was Jacob Butler and his mother was Mildred Katherine Trauernicht.  John Trauernicht and Elizabeth Hosto were his grandparents through his mother's adoption. He had two brothers named William and Walter. He had a half-brother named Alfred.  He died at the age of 73 on March 8th, 2007 in Killeen, Bell County, Texas.  The funeral took place on March 16th, 2007 and was arranged by Sneed Funeral Chapel.  He was buried on March 16th, 2007 at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Lampasas, Lampasas County, Texas.1 1
