- Charles Elmer Butler, 73, of Lampasas died March 8, 2007, at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen.
Graveside services were March 16 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
Mr. Butler was born Feb. 3, 1934, in Staunton, Ill., to Jacob Andrew and Mildred Katherine Trauernicht Butler.
Mr. Butler never married. He worked in various jobs all related to ocean freight hauling.
He is survived by two brothers, Bill Butler, of Elm Mott, and Walter Butler, of New Douglas, Ill.; and by a half-brother, Alfred Kessman, of Old Ripley, Ill.
