Martha was born on March 9th, 1779 in North Carolina, USA.1   Martha's father was Robert Morrison and her mother was Sarah.  Her paternal grandparents are William Morrison and Janet Hall. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William, John, James, Robert, Thomas, Phoebe, Sarah, Elizabeth, Jean and Mary.  She died at the age of 75 on October 10th, 1854.
