Joseph Walter McLain 
Joseph Walter was born on March 8th, 1876 in Illinois, USA.1 Joseph Walter's father was William Harvey McLain and his mother was Lydia Antoinette Whitcomb. His paternal grandparents were John S. McLain and Elizabeth McCartney. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Horace E., Elmer Park, Frank W., Clyde Herbert, Mary Luella, Nettie Viola, Emma Blanche and Lottie Leora. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 78 on November 27th, 1954 in Iowa, USA. He was buried in Emerson Cemetery.-
