Josiah was born on November 30th, 1713 in Springfield, Hampden, Massachusetts, USA.1 Josiah's father was Samuel Keep and his mother was Sarah Colton. His paternal grandparents were John Keepe and Sarah Leonard; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Colton and Sarah Griswold. He had five brothers and five sisters, named John, Samuel, Jabez, Stephen, Matthew, Sarah, Elizabeth, Jemima, Eunice and Abiah. He died at the age of 63 on July 28th, 1777 in Brimfield, Hampden, Massachusetts, USA.-
