Jonathan M was born on April 3rd, 1852 in Indiana, USA. Jonathan M's father was Jonathan Jefferson Hinkle and his mother was Catharine Lentz. His paternal grandfather was Anthony Hinkle and his paternal grandmother is Barbary (Barbara) Seitz. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William Jefferson, Isaac W, John Henry, James, Delilah, Elizabeth, Mary, Margaret Ann "Maggie" and Catherine. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 46 on February 8th, 1899 in Monroe County, Indiana, USA. He was buried in Bethel Cemetery (aka Mount Bethel).-
